Topic: Bathurst time again
I prefer the old one with peter Brock Allan Moffat
The days of ford HQO 351 no power steering just a huge engine block
have you seen the one where a roo jumped into the path of one of the cars and the one where the car rolled and the flag man had to run for his life
Ford Falcon '351 High Performance' car badge, 1969
in those days if ford won you could buy a car almost the same as the car
today the cars are totally different to road cars

oh yes, those were the days. the roo was ultra scary. i guess you missed the time when at the top of the mountain, a car smashed into the wall, lost a wheel which ended up crashing through craig lowndes windscreen.the in car footage was real scary.
peter Brock Allan Moffat are real race car rivers todays cars are much safer yes but the rality of todays cars is you cannot go to a ford or holden car sales pick up a car and drive it
people were able to go buy a ford and say this car won the big race
but life moves on and we have to accept change I feel lucky in a way to be able to say I was there for the glory days when there was 2 main camps at the race ford and holden
sadly i have not been able to get to see the race in person to busy working and enjoying life
